About the Author
Prakash Narain was born in a Mathur family of Urdu
culture in Delhi, in December 1917. He enjoyed oneness in Hindus and
Muslims for twenty years in Delhi. Hindus were a little more than half
the people in Delhi. He cherishes benign memories of his benefactors
among Hindus, Muslims and the British. With Britishers, he was
associated for fourteen years in St. Stephen’s College and Defence
Ministry. In the bureaucracy he learnt its nature and possibilities and
of its British pillars for seven years and Indian pillars for twenty
eight years. He settled with his children in the USA since 1981.
The British education policy from 1835 until today
replaced knowledge with total ignorance of all religions in India. To
complete his education as a Hindu, Prakash Narain, not knowing
Sanskrit, reached Tulsidas’s Ramayan.
He learnt from it that Tulsidas was a revolutionary
reformer to rid Hinduism of all that was irrelevant to faith in the
reality of God to profit from it. So, Tulsidas is teaching us the
science of
receiving a mind empowered to its limitlessness. He found this science
as the corollary of Advaita school
of Vedanta. To Prakash Narain,
Mahatma Gandhi’s unimaginable powers were the proof of the science and
the truth of Advaita. Mahatma
Gandh lived by its minimum Brahmacharya
discipline but for a different personal reason that he bares in
his Autobiography.
Since all power flows from God and each follower reaches
God through his own religion, Prakash Narain concluded that the Holy
Book of every
religion must contain the science for receiving an empowered mind to
serve
humanity. He found its proof in Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan popularly
known as Frontier Gandhi.. Khan first understood from Mahatma Gandhi
the spiritual power of non violence and then found non violence in the
Quran. With its help he created the first and perhaps the last in the
world regiments reaching 100.000 non violent soldiers of Islam from the
most revengeful and violent Pushtoon Pathan stock of Afghanistan.
Pathans had earlier beaten back three invasions by the British from
India. Khan's soldiers wore red shirts as their insignia. They
were known as Khudai Khidmatgars or Servants of God. Only Indian
spiritual Muslims could be non violent Jihadis in the world.
Khan proved how Muslim Masses reaching India from 712 A.D. jumped into
the Advaitic ethos in
natives of six religions in which they were
living. This ethos started from Vedic times for all to enjoy its
power and create and share properity in complete non violence. Masses
till today distance themselves from the present violent leaders as they
did from erstwhile cruel rulers.
Dr R.C.Mozumdar in his History of Indian
People and Culture for 1816 to 1950 that the Bharatya Vidya Bhawan
published,
could find only five riots by and within the local Hindus and Muslims.
They causwed 16
deaths and all before 1890. Mozumdar typifies historians that dance
round the rulers and leaders. He did not devote to the commoners,
people
or the masses even five pages out of 3000 of this history.
